Slide rheostat with protective cover, 3 connector clamps

All resistors are constructed with the benefit of our many years of experience and with the greatest attention to detail. The resisting material is exclusively oxidised constantan Eureka wire (CuNi44) which demonstrates almost the same resistance cold or warm. The carriers are exclusively tubes made of temperature-resistant steatite soapstone tubes. These are suitable for higher voltages, direct current and higher frequency currents. The construction of the slide and the use of special carbon contacts ensure easy movement even when hot. The protective cover of perforated metal provides protection against accidental contact with current-bearing parts. It is stove enamelled in black kiln-fired lacquer and is therefore scratch-resistant and long-life.
