Micro Hammer Mill
Instructions

The mill should be secured to a bench so that the mill outlet projects over the edge. Alternatively it can be mounted on the special platform, which is available as an optional accessory. When mounted on the platform, the mill requires no further clamping and is fully portable

Make sure that your mains voltage is the same as that indicated on the motor.

Before plugging in the machine, open the grinding chamber and make sure that the slide-in screen is correctly placed in the grooved lining at the bottom of the chamber. Close the grinding chamber. Make sure that the speed control on the right-hand side of the mill is turned fully counter-clockwise and the toggle switch is in the OFF position, then plug in the machine. With the mill empty, press the toggle switch to ON and turn the speed control a ½ turn clockwise. Allow the mill to run at a slow speed for a few seconds as an additional assurance that all is correctly set; then switch off by turning the speed control to minimum speed and the toggle swich to OFF.

The initial size of the material to be fed into the hopper should not be larger then 6 mm. Before placing material in the hopper, push the hammers fully in until they are stationary. Until you are fully conversant with the operation of the mill, we would suggest that the hopper should not be filled to more than about 1/3 of its capacity.
